Growth Mindset is a simple idea discovered by world-renowned Stanford University psychologist Carol Dweck in decades of research on achievement and success—a simple idea that makes all the difference. Carol Dweck believes that colleges could improve their students' learning if they relentlessly encouraged them to think about their mental skills as malleable, rather than as properties fixed at birth. Learn how growth mindset has more to do with resiliency in the face of failure rather than level of intelligence.

Looking for some exposure to other college programs and curriculum mapping? C.A.F.E. is looking for full-time faculty to help facilitate program mapping sessions in May. Sessions run throughout May but any commitment you are able to make is helpful.

Sessions are 2 consecutive days from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you are interested please speak to your dean about your spring SWF and then get in touch with Curriculum Specialist, Shannon Webb.
